What are people saying?
Mary Osborne is an invaluable resource for caregivers and clients. Mary brings a creative, empathetic approach to her work. As a client, I felt my loved one and I were treated as individuals. The information Mary presented was both skillful, and user friendly. Mary helped make a confusing time much more approachable.
My name is Mary, an Occupational Therapist here in Austin, TX. I’ve been working as an OT for over 10 years, and I own an OT consulting company here in Texas.
Over these past 10 years, I’ve worked in nearly every OT setting and my passion has always been helping those with dementia, along with providing caregiver help & support.
I’ve seen the positive impact I can make in the lives of others, including those living with dementia and those caring for those living with dementia.

How Am I Different?
With over 9 years of experience working directly with patients, I understand the struggles and complexities involved in caretaking for and living with those with varying stages of dementia. I strive to assess and manage each situation so that safety, quality of life and optimal engagement is achieved.
Over these past years, I’ve seen the challenges that caregivers face when helping those with dementia. My passion and love for helping others has ultimately led me to the creation of my own consulting company, Your Dementia Therapist.
I offer a unique approach to care, with client centered focus on your needs, along with the needs of your loved one living with dementia. Along with consulting, I also offer an option for an add on activity box curated specifically for your loved one. I believe that together, we have the power to make a difference by entering the world of your loved one. Because even when both you and your loved ones world is changing, beauty and hope remain.
